Students from all over the world start the new year with Humboldt's Winter University
Humboldt's Winter University (HUWISU) held from January 4th to 22nd, 2016 is one of the largest winter schools in Germany. All interdisciplinary subject courses taught in English are designed for international undergraduate students who immerse themselves in a variety of topics. The winter school is organized by Humboldt-Universit?t's International Office.
HUWISU's 3-week winter programme includes a diverse range of course topics from the fields of history, cultural studies, politics, metropolitan studies and urban planning, law, German language and literature. Particularly interesting is the combination of a subject course with a German language course as participants "get a taste" of the German language or improve their existing language skills during their time in Berlin.
A varied cultural and leisure program, accompanied by experienced tutors, completes the HUWISU experience. While staying at Humboldt-Universit?t all participants can obtain ECTS credit points as well as a transcript of records.
